- In 1992, Argandoña’s art was featured in North Light Magazine.
- In 2016 and 2017, his art was featured in Gulf Coast Living Magazine.
- In 2021, Argandoña received the honor of being included in American Watercolor, with a description of how he started as a watercolor artist, what inspires him, and other information about his approach to painting. The article includes a selection of his paintings. Also in 2021, the artist’s art was featured in Plein Air Magazine.
- In 2022, Argandoña received the honor of being named Master Artist by the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society. Some of Augusto’s paintings of the history of Venice, FL, are now part of a permanent exhibit at the Venice Museum & Archives.

On March 2013, at a show held at The Manatee Art Center in Bradenton, FL, Augusto Argandona received the privilege of being a signature member of The Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society.
Several months ago, Venice Main Street held a poster design contest for the 24th Annual Downtown Venice Art Festival. The winner of the contest was: Augusto Argandona! Congratulations! Augusto’s design was used for the official poster of the Downtown Venice Art Festival, along with our ads for the show.
